Reese Witherspoon is to be the first global ambassador for Avon.
The actress will be the face of the cosmetics company as well as honourary chairperson of the Avon Foundation charity.
The charity supports women's issues such as breat cancer and domestic violence all over the world.
"Avon is more than an iconic world class beauty leader - it is a company that is known the world over as a crusader for women's causes," Reese told Vogue.
Reese will also appear in Avon advertising and help promote the brand globally.
