Wearing the colour though is a bit tricky with so many different shades available. The fact that it is so prominent means that you have to make sure it is applied properly, after all you don't want a smudged pout or bright red teeth.

Application is just as important as picking the right shade. First of all make sure you match your lip liner to your natural lip colour and not the lipstick, this stops the lips looking too overdone. Dab your lips with powder before applying the lipstick to ensure the colour stays put. Put the lipstick on then blot to make sure you have the right amount on.
Finally put your finger in your mouth, then pull it out slowly, this will remove excess colour that would otherwise end up on your teeth. It may sound like a seduction technique from an old porno, but trust us it works!
