Millie Mackintosh is urging us to take the safe option this summer and opt for a faux golden tan.
The Made in Chelsea star has recently launched the St. Tropez Spraycation tour which sees her bring rays of faux golden sunshine to cities across the UK.
The nationwide tour will see her and the St. Tropez team hit London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin.
They will be offering a complimentary, luxe tanning experience, the beach-themed pop-up tour will help Brits holidaying on home soil look happy, healthy and bronzed whatever the forecast.
Millie said: "Having a golden tan is one of my favourite things about the summer so I'm thrilled to be the ambassador for St. Tropez's Spraycation campaign which offers people in the UK the opportunity to get gorgeous skin safely.
"2012 is such a fantastic year to stay in Britain, the atmosphere this summer is going to be incredible! I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else."
With an exciting and packed summer ahead, research released to support the launch revealed that nearly half of Brits are planning a staycation this year. One in 10 are doing so in order to lap up the array of celebratory and sporting activities on offer, and nearly a quarter of those who work will be taking time off to maximise these once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.
Alongside the packed Olympic schedule numerous Brits will be looking forward to taking a traditional British seaside holiday this summer. Nostalgic Brits have fond memories of previous staycations with their families, with beachside holiday moments proving to be the most treasured. Paddling in the sea, building sandcastles with family and eating ice cream on the pier took the top three slots for best holiday memories, whilst a massive 7.3 million British adults would choose the seaside staple of fish and chips as the best thing about a UK Staycation.
The St. Tropez Spraycation tour will start in London Westfield on the 15th and 16th June and will also visit Bullring Birmingham on 22nd and 23rd June, The Trafford Centre Manchester on 29th and 30th June, Glasgow Braehead on 6th and 7th July and will finish up in Dublin’s Pavilions on 12th and 13th July.
With over half of Brits stating that having a tan gives them more confidence, visiting one of the St. Tropez Spraycation venues will ensure that Brits don’t need to stray far from home to look happy, healthy and bronzed whatever the forecast.
