Yes, we're still reminiscing about the fashion weeks gone by and it's time for Milan to step into the spotlight, with their fabulously chic beauty looks for AW09.
While we loved the looks from New York and London, Milan arguably put on more of a spectacular show in both fashion and beauty terms, not to mention drawing in the celebrity crowds.
Dolce & Gabbana managed to bag Freida Pinto, Eva Mendes and Kate Hudson for their FROW, while Cavalli had Liz Hurley and Mila Jovovich sharing the limelight with the designer.
But onto the beauty looks we'll be championing later this year, and apparently sexy berry lips are back with a vengeance, or the Vampiress look, as we like to call it.
After AW08 was ruled by the Dark Romance and Gothic beauty trends, this season does draw on that a bit, but takes it to the next level with a sophisticated dark berry lip stain.
This style was shown at the Frankie Morello, Luciano Soprani and Moschino Cheap & Chic shows in Milan, signaling that this may well be a beauty look to get excited about.
Next, we have to give Miuccia Prada a shout out, after her models strutted the runway with frizzy hair, red eyes and deathly pale skin.
We did notice pale skin was a key focal point for most of the shows this season, which does make sense considering the collection is for the cold winter months, as opposed to the sunshine of summer.
That said, it was a more deathly glow than we're used to seeing, further exemplified by the crazy eye colours; red at Prada and yellow at Marni, making the models look like they're out of this world.
Gucci gave us one of the most exciting collections in Milan, with the 80s being a clear influence on both their fashion and beauty looks being sported on the runway.
They gave us Dynasty-style hair and heavily applied make-up, which we absolutely loved, because it was in such striking contrast to what anyone else had shown on the runway.
Bright red lips, eyes and cheeks were the order of the day for Gucci and we think this is absolutely a style us ladies will be sporting come winter.
Roberto Cavalli gave us possibly the most wearable look for next season, as he kitted his girls out in sexy, smudged black raccoon eyes, paired with bare lips.
Finally, Missoni shocked us to our very core by introducing make-up less models on the runway for their show. Well, we say make-up less, but they were allowed just a smidgen of foundation to cover up their imperfections before walking the runway.
