While her eagerly anticipated appearance at New York Fashion Week didn't happen Michelle Obama still made an impact on some designers with models at Kimora Lee Simmons's Baby Phat show made up to look like the first lady.
The designer took influence from Michelle's classic eyes and big hair to create a catwalk of Obama clones.
MAC make-up artist James Kaliardos told Grazia that he was inspired by Michelle's classic beauty and tried to create her look using a sweep of pink blusher across the cheeks and gold eyeshadow with a brown shade on the brow bone, finished with a touch of glitter on the inner corners of the eye. Lips remained natural looking.
Stylist Odile Gilbert added lots of volume to the models's hair to create a first lady-like bouffant curl.
First fashion, now beauty what part of our lives will Michelle inspire next?!
