What could be worse than dry mascara, flaky powder and goopy foundation? Well the answer is nothing! It's beyond annoying when your daily routine is broken because of dodgy make-up.
We're all guilty of wearing our concealers and eye pencils down to the nib, using our mascaras a bit longer than is necessarily hygienic, and of course not changing our make-up brushes not nearly enough times in a year.
Well, fear not beauty novices because FemaleFirst are here with a guide to when you should change your make-up, and beauty routine at certain points throughout the year.
Today it's our final instalment of what to update in your make-up bag and beauty cabinet after 24 months.
After the mass clear out you've already been through in the past two years, by this point you should have gone through a fair few products, with only a few left to update.
So, to business. When make-up goes off you can definitely smell the difference, so by now the remnants of your make-up bag which haven't been changed yet will need to be.
Lipstick, lip and eye liners, perfumes and nail varnishes all need to be cleared out now, which considering some of the other, more expensive things you've been expected to ditch before now, shouldn't cost too much.
The good news is that while perfume does indeed have a limited shelf life, if you look after it and keep it out of the sun it can last a few years. Hurrah!
