Celebrity make up artist Lisa Eldridge tells us how to get fabulous foundation and achieve the perfect make up base
Know Your Face:"Get to know your own face and make sure you choose a colour that best suits the overall tone of your skin on both your neck and face."
Be Natural:"For a great day time look, use a sheer foundation which will appear fresh and natural rather than looking like your face is covered by a mask. One of my favourite products is Prestige Cream to Powder Foundation which offers a range suitable for all skin types and is available exclusively at Boots."
Less Is More:"Remember your foundation is to even out the skin, NOT to cover spots and blemishes for this you need a good concealer.Less is more for a seamless look when it comes to foundation."
Use Concealer Correctly: "For more prominent blemishes you need a concealer, not a light reflecting pen. Make sure your concealer is the same colour as your skin you may need to mix two products if youre not lucky enough to find the perfect shade for you."
Add Some Flushed Cheeks: "Cream blushers are great for dry skin and give instant luminosity and dewiness. Dot your cream blush over the apples of your cheeks and blend upwards."
Powder Perfection: "Finish off your base with a dusting of powder for perfect polished."
