Considering she doesn't necessarily have the best reputation when it comes to applying fake tan, it's a bit of a surprise that Li-Lo has decided to launch her own range of tanning products.
The amount of times she's been caught out with a patchy face, white ankles and hands, you would have thought she'd of left the beauty industry alone and focused on what she's good at. Oh, wait a minute...
No, to be fair she has proved herself as a designer, with her range of leggings selling out in minutes across the U.S., but the question remains would you really buy a tanning product from Li-Lo?
Honestly, at the minute it would be a no from us, as how can you trust something when the girl promoting it, has a shameful record of appearing orange at times. That said, The Mean Girls star has insisted that her fake tan is different to those already on the market.
She told People magazine: "I have tried every product on the market and never found something that I loved. It was important to me to have a natural product that didn't have a lot of dyes and chemicals."
Apparently Li-Lo's product- called Sevin Nyne; a play on her favourite numbers - contains DHA, which is said to not stain the skin, but still leave it looking tanned.
It uses caramel instead of colouring to get that bronzed glow, plus a sugar-coconut base and chardonnay extracts, which if you ask us sounds more like some form of sweet treat rather than a fake tan.
But Lindsay seems confident, gushing: "Our product has goji berry extract, which has antioxidant properties, it has a natural golden colour, it doesn't streak and smells delicious - not like a typical tanning product."
Humm... we're still not convinced, even if new promotional pictures of the actress make her look all radiant using her new product. We think the proof will be in the pudding, so we'll find out just how good it is, when it goes on sale from April 15.
