With Christmas just around the corner this is prime time to gain a few unwanted pounds. With all the delicious food on offer it isn't suprising, however, we have been road testing some of the best ways to avoid a flabby chin this winter!
Many celebrities get caught out and snapped with the infamous double chin. Britney is renowned for her many chins, here's how best to avoid them.
One of the easiest ways to create a flawless jaw line is by using make-up. By adding some subtle shading around the jaw line you can create the illusion of a strong and tautened line. Also, by using a bronzer which shimmers will highlight the parts your trying to hide. Instead use a matt bronzer that will hide any wobbly bits!
With the Christmas holidays upon us, shops everywhere are packed with all the latest creams and lotions to tighten, firm and smooth. It depends on the brand, but it has been suggested that with regular use some creams may help to define the jaw. The majority of these creams primarily tend to moisturise the skin, giving a healthy glow.
A good hairstyle can disguise a multitude of sins and none more so than a flabby chin! Two styles which tend to accentuate chins are - a bob and straight, long flat hair. A simple solution is to add graduation to the bob, and have layers put in long lengths. Both of these quick and simple solutions will not only disguise the chin but will add body and volume to the hair.
Finally, before you reach for the scalpel there are several non-surgical treatments which target the neck. Everything from microdermabrasion to chemical peels can improve the texture of skin and therefore improve the look of the chin. These treatments can be quite expensive though.
For a quick and easy solution to a double chin on a photograph, always remember when smiling to place your tongue on the roof of your mouth. The muscles in the neck contract and give a smoother appearance. If all else fails, of course there is always photoshop!
