Working with E.ON on a range of energy efficient looks for this season, hairstylist to the stars Christian Wood has come up with some inspirational celebrity looks helping you to save time and energy.
Get Tulisa glam curls:
- Start with freshly-washed hair
- Dry on medium heat with your hairdryer until it is 80% dry
- Use smoothing crème through the mid-lengths to ends of your hair
- Make sure that the hair is now 100% dry
Start to pin curl your hair
- Start at the front of your head working backwards
- Wrap two inch sections of hair around your fingers to form a curl
- Remove your fingers and pin the curl to you head using kirby grips
- Blast your hair for a couple of minutes to heat the pin curls
- Leave to set for as long as possible while you do your make-up or the housework.
-If you have the time, sleep in the curls for extra effect
- Remove the grips, shake hair out
- Backcomb your hair at the roots and smooth out the curls
- Fix with hairspray for longer lasting results
- To keep your new style going until the next day, rather than rewash and use more energy, simply redo the look but on dry hair and no heat
- Even just leaving the pin curls in for ten minutes will reignite your hairstyle
The classic Audrey Hepburn beehive:
- Hair does not need to be washed before putting this style together
- Tip your head upside down and apply a generous amount of dry shampoo to the underside of your hair
- Blast with the hairdryer
- Your hair will now have volume galore so pull the hair back into your required beehive height
- Twist at the nape of the neck and pin
- Use hairspray to hold the style in place
Cheryl Cole's wonderful waves:
- Hair does not need to be washed before putting this style together
- Separate your hair into sections
- Wrap each section around a Velcro roller
- Leave the curlers in for around 30 minutes
- Take the curlers out and shake out curls
- Backcomb hair from the root to create volume

- Start at the front and wrap your hair around large Velcro rollers which creates volume and body
- Then smooth with serum to create a sleek loo
- Add dry shampoo to the roots to add volume
Kate Middleton's glossy coif:
- Rather than splashing out for an expensive blow dry as the Duchess does, you need to ensure that your hair is dried quickly with the hairdryer
