Day 7

Day 7

Day 1: Women always want to look good when they leave for their holiday. On the first day the hair should be sleek and shiny because once in the sea and sun, sleek and shine will be hard to achieve.
To achieve a beautiful sleek look so hot for this summer, shampoo & condition the hair using  Semi Di Diamante Illuminating shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo is pH-balanced, &  is formulated to reinforce and protect the hair cuticle, whilst the conditioner will leave the hair nourished, manageable & easy to style.  Once the hair has been towel-dried apply and comb through  S4U X Rebel hair serum. X Rebel is a fantastic product to give ultimate shine, while at the same time protecting the hair from the heat from blow-drying & straightening irons.

Day 2:  Wavy hair is the hottest look for the beach. There is a certain ‘beach wave’ that can be achieved. If you run Posh’N through the hair after shampooing, and leave it on the hair, once on the beach and the salt from the sea gets into the hair a lovely ‘beach wave’ will develop. Then if you scrunch the hair with you fingers, this will intensify the wave and give it ‘bounce’. If you don’t want to swim in the sea, you could cheat by using Bumble & bumble Seaspray. If you have very straight hair, you could plait all of the hair in at least 3 plaits (or get a friend to help) and then have fun on the beach in the plaits. Once they have been taken out waves will appear and can be maintained by using a mouse to hold them in place. I recommend Semi Di Lino Illuminating Mousse.

Day 3: The biggest trend this summer is the graduated loose plait, worn to the side.  You need long hair to create this look. Gather the hair over one shoulder allowing some hair to fall loosely out. Take three sections of hair and start to plait. Start loosely; follow down to the ends, getting tighter towards the bottom and tie with dressing elastic. Spray with S4U f’xD hairspray. Iron pieces of the hair that fell out with Cloud Nine Irons (available at Mahogany), gently curling the ends.

Day 4: Another great up-do for summer when the hair is wavy and often unwashed, is the high ponytail taken clean and stark from the face with hair combs to mask greasy roots. To create a similar look to YSL, secure a ponytail with dressing elastic high on the crown. Wrap hair combs around the head and secure. Two or three, slightly overlapping each other, will create the desired effect.  They will form a head dressing, because each is layered over and over, leaving only the pony tail free. Very easy to create and dramatic! This is very sexy and managable and great in the heat as it keeps hair away from the neck helping you to keep cool.

Day 5: Assuming that by the fifth day the hair will be washed, you could go for a bouncy, wavy look – perfectly blow-dried. To create body, rub S4U t’xT volumising gel into the roots and mid lengths. Then to create an effortless wave, tip the head upside down and blow-dry, raking a paddle brush through roots to ends, finish by shaking the fingers through the hair. This will separate the hair to give it that unkempt look. Then tip the head to one side and spray the roots with S4U f’xD hairspray, repeat on the other side. This will lift the roots and help the ruffled look stay in place.
For a more defined texture now take 2 inch sections of hair, twist the hair round until it turns back on itself and pin in at the root, spray with S4U f’xD hairspray and let the hair set for 20-30 minutes. Take the clips out, shake the hair out upside down and dress with S4U d’fnR wax. This will insure the hair is wavy and detached.

Day 6: Day old hair is great for achieving a choppy, layered look, especially with a big sexy rounded fringe, set heavy over the eyes with a deep rounded line. To get this look, apply S4U t’xT for volume, wrap dry (blow dry the hair brushing it in opposite directions) and finish with S4U f’xD hairspray, to form that sexy, messy texture.

Day 7: For the last day a long sleek ponytail with a front quiff is perfect. It will open up the face and show off a golden glow perfectly. You can achieve this look by rough drying the hair using a golf ball sized amount of Semi Di Lino Illuminating Mousse; smooth the ends through with a paddle brush as you dry. Section off a triangular piece of hair at the front hair line. Twist the hair round and push forward and secure to the scalp with a couple of Kirby grips. Draw the rest of the hair into a pony tail and try to trap the end of the quiff. Smooth down stray hairs with S4U F’Xd.
