Goldie Hawn has created the candle to help raise money
Award-winning actress, director and producer, Goldie Hawn, has collaborated with Max Benjamin to create a brand new candle, ‘Calm’, with a percentage of the proceeds from the sales contributed to The Hawn Foundation.
Goldie Hawn and Max Benjamin’s ‘Calm’ candle is a blend of beautiful lavender oils with three wicks.
The Hawn Foundation is a charitable organisation founded nearly a decade ago by award-winning actress, director and producer, Goldie Hawn. Appalled by the alarming increase in stress, anxiety, and depression in children and young people, she was determined to support schools in overcoming these social challenges. The Foundation is dedicated to providing children with an array of critically important, yet frequently overlooked, social and emotional skills necessary for leading smarter, healthier and more resilient lives.
Goldie says: "I created this candle to give something beautiful to people. I chose the name 'calm' because a calm environment means less stress and anxiety. Knowing that scents have powerful effects on the brain, I chose lavender for the sense of well-being it engenders. Together the name and the scent of this wonderful candle convey our essential message to children and parents alike: that their well-being, their sense of calm and confidence is of the utmost importance!"
Goldie Hawn and Max Benjamin’s ‘Calm’ candle is available now - a portion of the proceeds from the candle will be going to Goldie Hawn’s charity The Hawn Foundation UK.
