As Spring creeps up on us it's time to indulge in a bit of colour on our faces with some candy pop make up, Follow in the footsteps of Blugirl and Aurelio Costarella by swapping your traditional smokey eyes for bright blues or girly purples.
Blugirl almost blended model's blusher into their eyes. They choose a light fuchsia shade of blush at the very top of cheeks and blended it out and round towards the corners of eyes. The eyes were coated with a dusting of light purple up to the brow bones. The look was completed with flicked out with black liner along the top lashes.
Aurelio Costarella choose to mix up his colours, blending pastel green, across the eyelid, into a aqua blue flick at the outer corners.
If you want to try this look yourself a pink or purple shade is a great place to start as it will get you used to wearing colour on your lids but isn't too full on, you can even go two tone, blending the colours into each other. As you get braver try using more different colours like blue and green.
You can use one colour for the top lid and then smudge a line of a contrasting colour along the bottom lashes.
If you go for pink eyes you can mix in a bit of blusher but otherwise keep the rest of your face very simple with this look, with a flawless base and natural lips, bright lips and colourful eyes is just too much.
Colour pop eyes are the perfect way to shake up your make-up routine while keeping ahead of the trends. Try it and we promise you won't look back!
