Dame Edna Everage is the new muse of MAC make up and they have released a new range in honour of her.

MAC says: "As mirthfully minx-like and tongue-in-chic as her dazzling persona, Dame Edna's eponymous limited-edition colour collection reveals the wit of her makeup passions...Like our muse, it's 'spectacular'."

The range includes eyeshadows, lipstick, lipgloss, hi lighter powder and nail varnish, decorated with Dame Edna's signature eyelash shaped glasses.

Colours in the limited edition collection, inspired by the gladioli flower, are bright and girly, mostly pinks, purples and reds but with the usual high quality finish that we would expect from MAC.

Dame Edna said: "I'm doing this out of love - I'm a giver."

"The audience's applause was a little louder when I was wearing MAC on stage, so I was a convert. They didn't have to coerce me."
