Belle d’Opium Yves Saint Laurent
Belle d'Opium is a strong grown up fragrance that makes a statement as soon as it is sprayed out od the bottle. It's the new lighter version of the Yves Saint Laurent classic Opium, but still manages to stick to the skin all night long. The oriental fragrance has notes of casablanca lily, sandalwood, gardenia, white pepper and jasmine accord. This is definitely a perfume for them Christmas nights out.
Love, Chloe Chloe
Chloe finally came back to the world of fragrances last year with the release of the popular Chloe Eau de Parfum. This year we have Love, Chloe. The product is advertised as a radiant and generous and tries to encapsulate “the olfactory vocabulary of cosmetics” which basically means it smells like a cosmetic powder. So, if you don't mind smelling of make-up this is the perfume for you. The creamy blended floral scent is feminine in a modern manner.
Gucci Guilty
Gucci have another hit fragrance on their hands with this one. The past couple of years each scent has tickled my fancy and instantly been on the Christmas list. And this is no exception, the fruity notes of the perfume stops the pink pepper from becoming overbearing. The bottle looks great on the dressing table as well.
Womanity Thierry Mugler
You often find Thierry Mugler scents sitting on the fence. People either love them or hate them. The newest fragrance starts with hints of citrus and fig, then comes through caviar. Yes, I know exactly what you’re thinking, fish eggs in a bottle, but I had to read the press notes to know what this smell was as it's nothing like you would expect. All together the perfume is a lot tamer to wear compared with other Mugler scents, but it successfully encompasses energy, tenderness and sophistication, this is Womanity.
Beauty Calvin Klein
Designed for the woman in her forties, Beauty encapsulates maturity in the simplest way. The light, floral fragrance is different to what we have recently seen from Calvin Klein. Euphoria and Obsession lured at the provocative and sexy side to a woman. The ambrette, jasmine and cedar base elements of the fragrance make this a delight to wear during the day. It does help that the stunning Diane Kruger fronts the campaign and leaves nothing much to the imagination in a white gown that skims over her curves.
