Get Some Christmas Colour!
We've covered smokey eyes, big hair, sparkly make-up and pouty lips for the festive season, so now it's time to concentrate on injecting some colour into your party look.
Unless you fancy dying your hair bright pink to really get in the party spirit, we recommend giving coloured extensions a go this season. Coloured hair mascara is a beauty disaster of the past, so thankfully these new human hair colour extensions can be clipped in and styled as normal with your hair.
You may feel a little childish in them, but they really do give your a hair a playful edge and come in a range of different colours, from extreme blue to natural plum.
Forget black nails for a party, as sophisticated as it may seem- it's also pretty dull. Why not liven up your look with orange, red or bright pink nails and top off with a sealant coat that will give your nails ultimate shine.
Coloured mascara and eyeliner are fab for this time of year as they can really liven up your eyes, and get you out of your usual routine. It's obviously important to not clash your colours too much, but the peacock look is massive right now, so team blue and green together to achieve a dramatic, but fashionable effect.
Peacock eyes look great teamed with a simple black dress, but it's important not to go overboard otherwise you may end up resembling a drag queen. Sweep green eyeshadow over your eyes and highlight with a blue eyeliner, use normal mascara for the base coat of your lashes and top off with a splash of blue mascara.
Lastly, why not get flirty with some fun fake lashes? We already covered the new trend for over-the-top lace and feather lashes, but why not keep it simple with some colourful peepers instead?
Although you may want to avoid Princess Eugenie's huge pink eyelash look she sported recently, you wouldn't want to look silly now would you?
