Before you dry your hair, add a volumising product which will give the hair texture but not shine.
It will look better if you scrunch dry the hair but if time is of the essence dry it with a diffuser.
Once dry section our hair in half, attach the top section to the back in a messy bun. Use pins to fix it to the head and remember, the messier the better. Leave a few tendrils loose down by your face to frame it.
If you have a fringe this can be straightened, but don't straighten any other areas, it will ruin the messy look you're going for.
