Cheryl Cole has sparked a huge boom in the sale of false eyelashes, new figures revealed yesterday.
The stunning Girls Aloud star is reportedly a huge fan of the false lashes and now teenage girls are championing the look too.
According to The Sun, Tesco has seen sales double thanks to Cheryl, who was only last week voted Best Dressed by Tatler magazine.
Tesco’s health and beauty director Mark Tyldesley said to The Sun: "Cheryl Cole is doing for false eyelashes now what Dusty Springfield did for them in the 60s.
"She’s a modern icon so it’s not surprising so many young women are influenced by her style."
