Emma Watson

What a week it has been in the world of celebdom- The Grammy's, The BAFTAs and The Elle Style Awards all took place and the stars were out in force looking, in the most part stylish and chic.

We've already covered the best and worst dressed from the award ceremonies, but now it's time to dish the dirt on the celeb beauty looks they were favouring on the red carpet.

Some got it right on the night, using minimal make-up and unfussy hair to compliment their dresses, while others went OTT on both, dress, hair and make-up.

Emma Watson looked beautiful at The BAFTAs on Sunday night, rocking a Temperely frock to perfection. Her hair was also a triumph, showcasing a simple plaited up-do and minimal make-up, which showed off her natural face freckles.

Finally, she looked her age and we couldn't of been happier with her look on the night- full marks Miss Watson, which is more than can be said for Bond babe Gemma Arterton's dodgy Dynasty look.

We adore Gemma, but her huge bouffant hair-do, coupled with heavy eye and lip make-up added around 10 years to her age- and that's us being kind.

Despite blacklisting Angelina Jolie for her dress choice at the British film event, her hair and make-up deserve a thumbs up for their simplicity and elegance with which they were executed.

Estelle looked horrific at the Grammy's in her space-age dress, but it's her false eyelashes and drag queen make-up, which we really disagreed with.

Katy Perry meanwhile, didn't do herself any style favours with her pink nightmare, but we really liked her hair and make-up, which was stylish and chic.

Meanwhile, The Elle Style Awards gave us even more celebrity beauty looks to pour over, as the likes of Alexa Chung, Anna Friel and Sienna Miller were all in attendance.

Thandie Newton and Anna Friel rocked the dark eyes and red lips combo to perfection, while model-of-the-moment Rosie Huntington-Whiteley went for a relaxed beach babe look, with tanned skin, loosely styled blonde hair and no eye make-up; gorgeous!
