We all have fat days every now and again and have clothes we save for those dreaded days to make us feel better, even Victoria Beckham has admitted to wearing a Stella McCartney jumper dress on a fat day. But did you know that make up can make you appear thinner too?
That's right ladies, forget the jumper dresses and baggy jeans you choose to hide lumps and bumps and instead look inside your make-up bags for a few new slimming techniques.
Believe it or not you can make your whole face look thinner just through foundation. Start by applying foundation in the centre of the face and work outwards.
When you get to the edge of your face swap your usual foundation to a ever-so-slightly darker colour to create a slimmer appearance. It works in the same way celebrities like Beyonce admit to putting highlighter down their nose to make it look thinner. Just remember to apply it in natural light though to make sure it is blended well and doesn't look too crazy!
If it's a double chin that is the problem, eliminate it by applying a matt bronzer under the chin. Blend it well and you'll find it disguises any extra skin you'd like to hide.
You're eyebrow shape alone can make your face look thinner. Neat, angled brows make the face look slimmer so keep them in check.
Who needs diets, make-up tricks are much more fun!
