Plucking and preening your eyebrows can be a hassle but it is so worth the effort as a pair of groomed brows can totally make your face, opening up your eyes and frame your face.
This season brows should be kept full but tidy, forget skinny arches in the style of Cheryl Cole and instead channel Jennifer Connelly's strong look.
The same rule applies as to applying make-up, do it in natural light to make sure you get a natural look. The trick to perfecting the strong brow look is to keep your natural shape but pluck any hairs beneath the brows. You should still have some sort of arch though to add a more feminine feel to the look.
To find your natural arch brush your brows upwards and this should reveal the shape. The highest point should be at the outer side of the iris and the brow should finish at about the same point as the outer corner of the eye.
Never do one brow and then the other, switch between, plucking a few hairs at a time, this will help you decide what shape will work best for you.
Finally don't forget to tidy the space above your nose, between your brows.
A good pluck should really sort you out, so grab them tweezers and get to work!
