As 2008 comes to an end we look to the future and the beauty looks that are going to be big next year.
Sculpted faces are hot news for Spring/Summer 09 with Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney and Calvin Klein all using them in their shows.
"This look is all about playing with light, shade and shimmer," said Pat McGrath, Global Cosmetics Creative Director for Max Factor.
This look is about creating perfection by using a wealth of base, primers, shading, sculpting and highlighting products to manipulate bone structure and luminise the skin.
To achieve the look apply a nude base then use soft brown blusher to deepen and strengthen areas that recede, such as under the cheekbones, eye sockets and beneath the jaw line. This trick will emphasise your natural bone structure.
Pat recommends then using highlighters on the bridge of the nose, cheekbones, inner corners of the eye, cupids bow and even the brow bone.
Follow these tricks to stay one step ahead of the beauty game next year.
