Heidi Klum works the metallic eye look
The party season may be well and truly over but that doesn't mean you can't still have a bit of sparkle in your look as gold and silver shades are the latest hot colours in the beauty world.
Versace and Moschino championed this look in their catwalk shows meaning it's bound to be a hit this season.
Heidi Klum worked the look at the Golden Globe Award's earlier this year with a silver shimmer across her eyelid and into the inner corner, really opening them up.
These metallic shades work on every colouring so there is no excuse not to try the look, but they do work particularly well against bronzed skin.
Use bronzer to pick your skin up then cover your eyelid in a silver or gold eye shadow powder, going right into the inner corner. Add a mousse eye colour in the same shade over the top to make the colour really stand out.
Brunettes will find that gold works best with their warm complexion while blondes will look better with silver peepers.
The look is a welcome change from the smokey eye look we're used to seeing on every red carpet but it i s just as dramatic.
We might be in a recession now but we can still get a fix of gold with this look!
