Only one drop needs to be applied to cover the whole of the face

We have another beauty product to add to the bulging cabinet in the bathroom. One that promises to reverse the signs of ageing and add radiance and luminosity to your skin.

BIOeffect Serum, the newest in skincare products from Iceland encourages the skin to repair its own cells helping to improve the look of it within just a few days.

Sif Cosmetics boasts that the serum contains only nine ingredients and only one drop needs to be applied to moisturise the face and neck area. Which means that the bottle will last quite a while, helping to justify the £125 price tag. Which doesn't seem much compared to some other prices.

The main ingredient for the serum is the Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) which occurs naturally in human skin. EGF encourages the skin to speed up the rate of cell turnover, as these cellular activators decrease with age.

Basically, our skin turns lazy and refuses to renew itself frequently, which means that we look more haggard, more wrinkled and less radiant. Great.

EGF has been used in some other different brands like Lumos-IV from lumosskincare.com and Dr Gregory Bays-Brown's Revive line. But what makes the BIOeffect Serum so different is how it is produced. It's grown inside bio-engineered barley plants that thrive in bacteria free volcanic ash, which means that it is exceptionally pure.

Research carried out by the company in Iceland indicates that one in five women have given up using other products and this is the only one that sits so proudly on their beauty shelves now. It also indicated that 98 per cent said that the serum gives their skin a fresher look.

There is currently £30 off the bottle, when buying from the website.
