With summer now upon us, well almost at least, it's time to look at a hot trend that was featured on the runways this season; 2 in 1 hair.
Alexander Wang, Preen and Emilio Pucci all showcased this hair trend on their catwalk, signaling that it may be a hot one to watch for the summer ahead.
The 2 in 1 trend involves slicking back half of your hair to create a 'wet look' style, while leaving the rest of your hair dry and loose, ready to be shaped into a low ponytail.
This look is simple and stylish, but best of all can work for day and night. The wet effect can be created by spraying hairspray into the roots, so that your hair is really damp, and then style from there using the texture to create a firm base.
Next, pull your hair back, using a comb so that you can clearly see the rake marks where you have sprayed the hairspray and fix into place.
Then, dry your hair with a diffuser, so that it looks rock hard, solid and really shiny, giving you a really glamorous effect.
Finally, comb the hair at the back down and fold it over, securing it in place in a ponytail, then if you want to add a little quirk to your look, thrown the ends up, so it sticks out.
