Akon is reportedly branching out into the beauty world, according to new reports.
The grammy-nominated R&B singer has revealed his plans to launch two fragrances, Konvict and Aliaune, in the autumn.
According to WWD, he's named the fragrances after his top-selling album, 'Konvict,' and his given name Aliuane 'Akon' Thiam.
It's thought that the two scents will be produced in partnership with his newly formed company Konvict Cosmetics Intl.
A spokeswoman has also revealed that the company is approaching retailers Macy's and Nordstrom for distribution in the autumn, but the fragrances will also be available on the firm's website.
Industry sources have predicted that Aliaune will be targeted at an older, more sophisticated customer, while Konvict will speak more to the younger generation, reports WWD.
