Its been almost 12 years since Enrique burst onto the scene yet we remember it like it was merely yesterday. With those piercing brown eyes and smouldering good looks he takes the September crown with ease. At a cool 6 ft 3, Enrique appears every inch the sultry Spanish sex symbol for which he is renowned. The son of famous Spanish singer Julio Iglesias and the Filipina journalist Isabel Preysler is of Asian and European descent and despite his parents break up at the age of 3, regards his childhood as 'normal', saying 'there were women, but it wasn't like Hefner's playboy mansion. If it was I'd still be living at home'! Enrique's passion for music seems to be mirrored in his passion for women. His most notorious relationship being with the tennis ace Anna Kournikova. They got together on the set of 'Escape' in 2002 and were rumoured to be secretly married in Puerto Vallerta in November 2004. Despite allegations of a break up the couple are still going strong, with Iglesias describing her as 'the only serious relationship I've had in my life'. Enrique released his first album in 1995 and has gone from strength to strength. His career started on Indie label Fonovisa who helped turn him into one of the most popular artists in Latin America and in the Latin market in the United States, selling more Spanish albums than any other artists in that period of time. Before the turn of the millennium he made a crossover into the mainstream English market and signed a unique multi-album deal with Universal Music for an unprecedented $48,000,000. Enrique's album sales currently total over forty million, making him one of the best-selling Spanish music artists in the world. His latest album Insomniac was released on June 12 and he is currently finishing up the video for 'Tired of Being Sorry.' Like many other artists Enrique has also made the cross over into acting, his most recent role being in the TV comedy Two and a Half Men, starring Charlie Sheen. He says that he would act again if given small roles that he could fit in between his musical commitments.
