This spring on March 9 2007, the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show will bring together the very latest in home design, must-have products and accessories, exciting innovation and expert advice from the UKs interior design world, running for 24 days and its all under one roof.
Plus you can be inspired further at the show as this years impressive central feature is a whole town! The show house village has been influenced by the new urbanism movement and is designed by Young Architects of the Year, Patrick Lynch & Co. It will feature three environmentally-friendly house designs as well a town square, incorporating green spaces and even a pub. It will showcase the very latest in contemporary thinking about housing, fusing sustainable modern designs with traditional building and is a definite must see.
Other brand new features at this years Daily Mail Ideal Home Show include the new Ideas Stations which will offer advice on a wide range of topics from property, gardening and renovations to interiors, and the exciting Home of the Future that offers the latest in home technology.
Firm favourites will also return, like the renowned cooking and DIY theatres featuring the famous faces of our show celebrities. Hundreds of exhibitors will be offering their specialist knowledge and products, a huge selection covering every aspect of the home from furniture, food & drink, DIY and gardening to interiors, gifts and accessories.
Spring 2007 sees the very first National Interiors Week, the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show will recognise the best of Interior Design, with a week long interiors extravaganza culminating with a glitzy award ceremony.

Patrick Lynchs Show Village BRAND NEW THIS YEAR The design fuses contemporary innovations in construction with traditional building to form a realistic vision of new places to live and work. A terrace house, a courtyard house and a modern country house will represent urban, suburban and rural living to show how green materials combined with a sustainable approach to development can make homes people want to live in. Four talks will be held each week by leading architects and critics, discussing current architectural trends and offering their expert advice to visitors.
House of the Future BRAND NEW THIS YEAR The House of the Future will showcase the hottest home technologies available. Experts will be on hand to answer questions, give demonstrations and advise on how to build a digital home.
Ideas Stations BRAND NEW THIS YEAR There will be four Ideas Stations at the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show this year offering free one-to-one advice and interaction with leading experts on a range of subjects; from interior and garden design, to planning permission and info packs. Visitors can simply drop in with an enquiry as there is no need to make an appointment.

Concept Products Awards This popular feature, now its seventh year will also return, giving visitors an insight into the future of furniture and gadgets designed by a generation of Britains most talented, young design graduates. Visitors can see for themselves each individual design plus vote for their favourite. The winning invention will be announced at an awards ceremony during the show.
Junior Concept Products also makes a great comeback. The Daily Mail Ideal Home Show has teamed up with schools throughout the UK asking budding young designers aged 8-11 to get creative and design an innovative product for the home, with winning entries being displayed at the show.
2020 Living BRAND NEW THIS YEAR The Daily Mail Ideal Home Show has invited students from the top six universities throughout the UK to design domestic products and furniture of the future.
