Royal Mail’s festive mailbag will be bulging this year with around two billion items in total handled over the course of the season
According to research from Royal Mail, nine in ten UK adults say that a card is the best way to keep to keep in touch with our friends and family this Christmas.
However, one in ten people forget to use the correct postcode or leave it off completely when addressing their mail, meaning that loved ones are at risk of missing out on their Christmas message.
Customers are urged to check the Royal Mail website for information latest recommended posting dates, to ensure that everyone receives their cards in time for a great Christmas.

· Saturday 18th December: Second Class mail
· Tuesday 21st December: First Class mail
· Thursday 23rd December: Special Delivery
