* Creepy costumes for little critters! - Plenty of fun can be had with just some coloured card. Get creative and make witches’ hats, cat masks and devil horns
* Set a scaring scene - Use red or green light bulbs to give an eerie glow to the room and task your children to make cardboard tombstones and bats to decorate the walls

* Carve along the dotted line using a sawing action and different sized knives if needed
* Tea lights are great for lighting up your pumpkin, make a small hole in the lid to allow smoke to escape
