will have the chance to see and hear celebrities representing all six key elements of the exhibition at this spectacular three-day event - GRANDInteriors, GRANDBuild, GRANDKitchens, GRANDBathrooms, GRANDGardens plus the DESIGN Shopping Arcade.

Diarmuid Gavin, Naomi Cleaver, Jason Bradbury, Marianne Suhrand Oliver Heath to name just a few, are among the celebrities set to join Kevin McCloud at this year's star-studded Grand Designs Live.

Kevin McCloud, perhaps best known as the writer and presenter of Channel 4's Grand Designs, will again head this year's exhibition.

Kevin studied History of Art at Cambridge University before setting up his own practice in interior and lighting design. As a result of his design work, Kevin was invited to appear as a guest presenter on television, first for 'Homefront' on BBC Two, then 'Homefront In The Garden'.

He then went on to write and present Grand Designs, produced by Talkback, which is now in its seventh series. He also wrote and presented Grand Designs Europe. In the course of the series, Kevin demonstrated his fluency in French and Italian, occasionally acting as a translator for people who have built abroad in places where they don't know the language.

Other TV work has included Don't Look Down (examining the construction of tall buildings) on BBC Two in 2000, Demolition on Channel 4 in 2005, The Stirling Prize: Building of the Year (in 2004, 2005 and 2006) and Regeneration: the Castleford Project scheduled for Channel 4 in 2007.

In 2005 he was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Design from Oxford Brookes University.

Kevin will be present throughout the three-day event, hosting various seminars including, 'Living the dream', where Grand Designers re-live their experiences of creating their dream home and ponder on whether it was all worth it.

Whilst Naomi Cleaver is perhaps best known as the presenter of popular Channel 4 series' 'Other People's Houses' and 'Honey, I Ruined the House' she is also a much sought after design consultant and passionate promoter of the very best in design.

The woman behind countless interior design projects - from private homes to restaurants and retail environments - is distinguished by both a disciplined rigour and subversive wit.

For over ten years Naomi has been instrumental in the success of private and commercial projects across the UK, Europe and the USA ranging from BAFTAs newly refurbished Piccadilly premises to the 10,000 square foot flagship London branch of Manchester United's favourite bar and restaurant, 'The Living Room'.

Naomi is currently working alongside Kevin McCloud on More 4's new TV programme 'Trade Secrets'. Together they unpick the latest episode of Grand Designs to bring viewers behind the scenes and provide them with practical advice to help them create their own dream home.

Diarmuid Gavin The maverick of the gardening world, Diarmuid Gavin's innovative work has helped to make people think differently about their outside space, be it a small patio or large garden.

Diarmuid studied at the College of Amenity Horticulture in Glasnevin, Dublin. Following this, he established his own school of garden design, culminating in the Dublin School of Garden Design.

His gardens draw on a wide range of influences, from the work of other designers, such as Roberto Burle Marx, to functional objects, like sardine cans and oil rigs.Jason BradburyJason is a gadget and technology maestro. He is a keen collector of 'exotic' gizmos and an ardent techno DIY'er.

Jason is currently appearing on ITV's This Morning as the gadget guru and new science series for Discovery Kids called Gross! He is also hosting The Gadget Show alongside Suzi Perry for Channel 5.

Marianne Suhr is a historic buildings expert who regularly appears on BBC2. She trained with The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings and continues to work part time for the SPAB, running workshops around the country. She teaches builders, homeowners and architects how to repair old buildings properly, and campaigns against the use of cement on historic structures.

Over recent years she has worked on many churches and several English Heritage sites. Marianne's love of mud and lime in repair and in new buildings continues unabated. She has recently returned to hands-on work, and is currently repairing a derelict farmhouse in Leicestershire.

Oliver Heath initially started work as a set designer before winning the 1998 Young Designer of the Year competition on BBC Homefront. This launched his TV career and Oliver went on to present design projects for Homefront and BBC Changing Rooms and Channel 4's From House to Home.

Oliver also runs a design practice, Blustin Heath, with his partner Nikki Blustin, working on a variety of architectural, interior and product design projects.

More recently Oliver has taken up writing and completed two books, The Home Book, and Front of House, which accompanies the TV series of the same name.
