Beer, is a favored drink for many of us, but thanks to the so-called “beer belly”, beer has got a reputation as a “bad-for-you” beverage. The term alone seems to have single-handedly created the myth that beer makes you fat.
Most of us assume that there is a direct correlation between the amount of beer you consume and the size of your belly, but how accurate is this perception?
Well, a new report proves that in fact beer has similar nutritional benefits to wine and can even have positive health associations if drunk in moderation as part of a healthy lifestyle. Beer is fat-free, cholesterol-free and low in carbohydrates. We should all drink to that!
