iFit Live is compatible with NordicTrack And Proform treadmills from the ICON Health and Fitness range. iFit Live is the first ever product to merge fitness equipment with Google Maps technology. Users can plot a track using Google Maps on their laptop, iPad or iPhone and then via streetview they can actually see where they are as they progress along the course.
The equipment also automatically adjusts inclines and resistance using Google Maps data. This means anyone training for a race can get a real feel for the track without stepping foot outside of their house. For example if they were interested in running The World's Best 10K (WB10K) in San Juan, Puerto Rico they could upload the map of the race and then jump on their treadmill and get a feel for the race including any inclines or declines along the way.
