As a nation we still struggle to open up about embarrassing conditions and would prefer to suffer in silence rather than seek medical advice. According to a new survey conducted by Tena for Men, more than 1 in 10 (13%) of us would not open up to family, friends or even a doctor about an embarrassing condition.

Over half of us (58%) have suffered from a condition we were embarrassed to discuss, but despite this high percentage only a little more than a quarter of us (29%) would seek advice instantly, and would be more likely to look it up on the internet than speak to a specialist.

Off the back of these findings Tena Men has decided to create a platform encouraging people to shed the taboo of embarrassing conditions. Through a video webcast we aim to answer questions about those conditions you are embarrassed about - in complete anonymity.
