"The cold weather has finally descended, and with it comes colds, sniffles and flu.
For many work will be missed, parties ruined and tissues motored through.
But don’t count on sympathy from colleagues or loved ones.
New research reveals that men should beware – a cold or flu could cost you more than a day off work.
Sneezing, sniffling and coughing without covering your mouth could sound the death knell for your relationship as an unsympathetic 1.1 million women would dump their partner for their cold suffering.
The poll, of 2,500 Brits for Tesco Healthcare found that these women aren’t alone though as more than a quarter of people feel annoyed instead of sympathetic with people who have colds.
