The Good Times app is designed to help you enhance all the good bits of a night out while minimising the chances of the night turning bad, for example having too much to drink, losing your friends, getting into a fight or ending up without a ride home.
Make sure that you make the best of your night out with the help of this free app.
How the Good Times mobile app works
When using the app the first step is to set up a profile – you can do this using an email address or simply by connecting your Facebook account. You then import friends from Facebook or by adding their email addresses, which will prompt them to download the app too.
As soon as you've all downloaded the app you can start planning your night. Simply select the date, time and place of your event, and who you want to come.
Once your night's begun, you can set your GPS settings in your ‘Account’ page to determine how often your phone tracks your location. During the night you and your friends can add photos and comments to the event, marking everything you add as a ‘good time’ or a ‘bad time’. Your friend finally got chatting to the person they’ve been going on about for ages? Take a snap and upload it as a ‘good time’. Later on one of your friends has ended up making a bit of a fool of themselves - you guessed it, snap it and upload it as a ‘bad time’.
The app can also help keep your night on track by delivering you handy tips and reminders throughout the night, and even the morning after.
But we know that too many drinks isn’t the only problem you can encounter on a night out. Getting separated from your friends when you’re out can be a nightmare, especially when they don’t pick up their phones, so for the duration of the event you’ll be able to locate people invited to your event using the GPS Friend Tracker.
And what about that end of the night rush for taxis? Don’t worry about it – simply hit a button and order a taxi straight from the app.
But why should I use the Good Times app?
Part of having a good night out is remembering it the next morning and laughing at all the mad things that happened. The Good Times mobile app allows you to replay your night out, viewing photos you and your friends uploaded, comments you made and whether people judged it as a good or bad time. You can also review how much you drank, to decide whether it was that ill-advised shot that tipped it over into a bad night out.
Titled ‘Good Times’ the mobile app is now available to download for free from the App Store, Blackberry App World and Android Marketplace.
