Fake tan is the safest way to enhance your natural glow

Fake tan is the safest way to enhance your natural glow

New nasal tanning spray is not safe enough to use, according to the Medicine and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency.

They said that the product, known as the Ubertan Sunless Tanning System, was not licensed for sale and therefore had undergone no safety testing.

The MHRA said that it is illegal to sell or advertise the product.

Nicole Froggett from Coventry, spoke to the BBC after she had bought the product and suffered with side effects.

She told the BBC that she was very pale and fake tan and sunbeds did not help enhance her tan.

After using the spray, she said: "You feel a bit dizzy and you get a head rush like you've had your first cigarette of the day.

"I started to feel sick, but it wore off after two hours."

The product is designed to be used twice a day for two weeks. The company's website claims that it is made from natural extracts of an Indian tropical plant and it is not a fake spray tan.

Experts have warned that people who use the product may suffer from serious side effects, and if you have bought any of the product to dispose of it immediately and don't buy any more.
