We all have good intentions when it comes to New Year’s resolutions, but we also know that they’re easily broken – 9 times out of 10 it’s because they’re unrealistic.
A survey of 2000 women, commissioned by Oliver Gray, author of new book Energise You, the ultimate energy plan, revealed that women are also feeling pressured when it comes to diet and exercise. With 65% of women feeling guilty as they don’t do enough exercise and over half believing they should eat a healthier diet.
So it’s not a surprise that energy slumps are on the increase, with 81% of women suffering from energy slumps, either in the morning, after lunch or by mid-afternoon.
Watch the video below with useful tips and hints from Oliver about how you can help yourself become more energised.
Oliver Gray’s new book Energise You, the ultimate energy plan, is the UK’s first ‘super’ self-help book, so called as it brings different strands of lifestyle support together in one simple, easy-to-implement system for change. Eschewing the ‘quick fix’ approach of other plans, Energise You presents steps to create new habits across 7 different areas of your life: the mind, nutrition, sleep, exercise, smart computer use, re-energising and establishing a work life balance.
