Claire Sweeney has teamed up with Kenco for Macmillan's World's Biggest Coffee morning to help raise vital funds for the cancer support group.
Kenco proudly launches its role as official coffee partner to Macmillan’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ which this year will fall on Friday 28th September. To mark the third year of this association and encourage a record-breaking number of participants, actress and TV presenter Claire Sweeney has teamed up with Kenco to ask the UK to ‘Wake up and Smell the Coffee’.
Claire held her own Macmillan coffee morning on Mornington Terrace, London, asking people to register for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Claire Sweeney says: “It’s an honour to be working alongside Kenco and Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity close to my heart, to help raise valuable funds for this worthy cause. The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is a great chance to have fun and get together with friends, family or colleagues to share a cup of coffee. So go on, wake up and smell the coffee.”
Rebecca Robert, Senior Brand Manager for Kenco, says: “At Kenco we’re passionate about making a positive difference with every cup, so we’re delighted to be able to partner with Macmillan Cancer Support for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. By raising awareness and donating quality coffee to thousands of coffee mornings in the UK, we’re hoping to make it easier for more people to get involved and to add a little bit more flavour to the experience.”
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning encourages friends, family and colleagues to get together to enjoy a coffee and a slice of cake and help raise over £10.8million for Macmillan Cancer Support. But don’t worry, you can hold one whenever is most convenient for you - so get involved! Visit www.facebook.com/kenco for more information on registration.
