She’s a teen Disney star that made us sing along with her in High School Musical, and has since left us envious of her incredible, toned figure.
Like co-star and friend Vanessa Hudgens she’s frequently pictured in Hollywood leaving the gym or a workout class – which is hopefully inspiring you to do the same.
Hard work will pay off.
She shared her health and fitness tips with OK! Extra magazine:
I’m on a healthy diet, but I do have a cheat day. Sunday’s my day off and I eat what I want. I love fries, bread and pasta.
I usually snack on apples and peanut butter, celery or carrots. I cut out bread and wheat and eat protein, like chicken, salmon and other fish and veggies. If I’m going on vacation, I let myself have a vacation. It’s not super-exciting, but now that I’ve been doing it a while, I don’t have cravings.
I can see the difference from my dieting. I’m toned and leaner. I was always super-thin – too skinny, actually. I felt like someone could break me in half. I realise now that being a bit more curvy and toned is much more beautiful.
I am constantly working out with my trainer. Kickboxing is really great for cardio. It’s good for your abs but also your whole body because it works everything at once. Weight training is great for toning up without bulking up.
I always make time for exercise because not only is it healthy for you, it also relieves stress. I always make time for it. I’m so busy all the time and I get stressed a lot. Working out takes that away.
