Available at this special, limited-edition price only until the 2nd December, the earrings, sold by Avon Cosmetics, are made from sterling silver and contain a central oval, genuine 0.66 carat sapphire. Each sapphire has been hand selected for its colour and character, meaning every pair is individual and unique as well as being attractively priced. At full price next year, the earrings will retail at £60 - still a much lower price than can be found at most high street jewellers.
Proving that demand for luxury goods at an accessible price has spread from the supermarkets to all sectors of the consumer world, the launch of the real sapphire earrings, and the limited run at the price of just £25, follows the success of Avon's real diamond earrings, which last Christmas sold out in just nine days.
