The brand new Wii U console from Nintendo features a controller with a 6.2-inch screen.
Adding a second screen to the living room creates a multitude of new video game experiences while offering families a variety of options to customize their entertainment.
Previously, video games played on a home console have been confined to the TV and offered identical viewpoints to each player in a multiplayer environment. Furthermore, watching TV and playing console games have been completely separate experiences.
The new controller removes these boundaries, creating a more dynamic and fluid gaming and entertainment experience.
There is an array of exciting new games available on the Wii U including New Super Mario Bros U., ZombiU, Rayman Legends, Call of Duty: Black Opps II and FIFA 13.
Also available is Nintendo Land, a Wii U exclusive set in a virtual theme park with a dozen attractions inspired by fan-favourite Nintendo franchises such as The Legend of Zelda and Donkey Kong.
Just as the motion-controlled games in Wii Sports helped players discover the fun of the Wii console, Nintendo Land brings the promise of the GamePad to life with a range of single-player and multiplayer experiences. Launch date: 30th November 2012.
