Xbox is set to launch two new TV streaming products and consoles.
Xbox boss Phil Spencer has broken his silence on the new 'Scorpio' console rumours.
The head of Xbox Phil Spencer has responded to the flurry of rumours, which surfaced on Thursday (25.05.16), claiming Microsoft was planning to reveal two new Xbox TV streaming products as well as two Xbox consoles, at the E3 conference next month. Responding to the allegations on Twitter, Phil tweeted: "Lots of creative chatter today. Excited to share our gaming story at E3 on June 13th http://www.xbox.com/e3 (sic)."
Although, specific details about the upcoming gadgets are still kept under wraps, it is alleged the first console will be a slim-line Xbox One, which will be 40 per cent smaller than the current model and with 4K video support. The second is believed to be a more powerful console named 'Scorpio', which is said to have a more powerful GPU and support gaming with the Oculus Rift system.
Gamers believe the latest console is part of wider plans from Microsoft to bring together Xbox and Windows 10 under the name Project Helix.
Microsoft's briefing at the show is scheduled to take place 5:30pm on June 13.
