Xbox executive Phil Spencer has warned of no more 'Scalebound' news before 2017.
The home video game console executive has spoken out in response to the demand for information on the Platinum Games' Xbox One and PC action-RPG game from gamers.
One asked him on Twitter if there would be any news about the game this year, to which he replied: "Sorry, probably no new Scalebound news before 2017."
Whilst Sony has it's PlayStation Experience event coming up in December, Microsoft is still focused on its 2016 titles and hasn't planned a similar event to discuss upcoming titles.
'Scalebound' is expected to launch on Xbox One and PC in 2017 following a few set backs - it was initially scheduled for launch this year - but has been pushed back alongside two other big Microsoft-published games 'Halo Wars 2' and 'Crackdown 3'.
Speaking about the delays, Xbox marketing boss Aaron Greenberg explained: "As you go through that creative process, sometimes things happen fast, sometimes they take longer than you expect. For us making the games great, making sure the stories are great, the graphics are great in these immersive experiences, is a priority."
During Gamescom 2016, developers showed off its dragon customisation and gameplay in 'Scalebound'.
