Usain Bolt will be a playable character in 'Pro Evolution Soccer 2018' for those who pre-order the game.
The 30-year-old Olympic gold medallist is dubbed as "the greatest athlete of all time" and has spoken about his desire to play football professionally and a month after he retires from athletics Usain will be able to have his dream come true.
He wrote on Twitter: "I love football and have played 'Pro Evolution Soccer' for as long as I can remember. It's the best football game there is and it's a great honour to be a part of it and its success.
"Having my face and movements scanned for use in the game was a fascinating process (sic)"
The Jamaican sprinter, who is a big Manchester United fan, is an eight-time Olympic gold medallist and has won the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m gold at past three games - Beijing in 2008, London in 2012 and Rio in 2016.
Usain will be retiring in August this year after competing in the World Championships this summer in London and will get his chance to go virtually head-to-head against Lionel Messi when the game is released.
Last week, the Olympic medallist challenged the Barcelona player to a race and said: "I always like to try new things and Messi is one of the greatest footballers to ever grace the face of this earth.
"It would be an honour to race him because I have never met Messi."
As a spin-off from 'International Superstar Soccer' series, the game is one of the most popular games in the developers Konami's catalogue and has been available for consoles since 2003.
'Pro Evolution Soccer 2018' will be released in the UK on September 14 - one month after he retires - for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
