As well as their return to the big screen, Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are making a gaming return, coming to Nintendo 3DS hand-held systems in a new Activision release.
Insane genius Baxter Stockman has created robotic and mutant horrors who have now teamed up with shadowy armies of the Foot Clan to terrorise New York City, and it's up to the half-shelled heroes to clean up his mess.
Developed by Magic Pockets, the game is built around hack-and-slash fast-moving gameplay, letting players swap between the four main characters - Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello - at will.
Each bring with them a unique set of skills, and players' power evolves through time, gaining new levels, stat points and abilities whilst also able to craft new weapons at the Turtle's Lair through raw materials collected in gameplay.
Arriving later this summer and rated PEGI 12, more information is expected to be released through Facebook at www.facebook.com/TMNT.
