Sonic the Hedgehog is rumoured at be one of the new characters for 'LEGO Dimensions'.
Warner Bros. is expected to introduce 'Sonic the Hedgehog', 'Harry Potter', 'Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them', the 'Ghostbusters' reboot, 'Mission Impossible' and 'The Goonies' to its second year of expansions for the franchise.
They will be joined by 'Adventure Time', 'Knight Rider', 'Teen Titans' and 'Powerpuff Girls', according to Videogamer.
The entertainment company will unveil the new franchises ahead of the E3 gaming event which takes place from June 14 until June 16, but fans can expect an announcement on June 9.
'LEGO Dimensions' is a concept of bringing toys-to-life and includes 'Disney Infinity' and 'Skylanders'.
Gamers can build a LEGO portal that they can place toys on before they appear in-game.
Among the first 'LEGO Dimensions' characters to be brought to life were from DC Comics, 'Lord of the Rings', 'Ghostbusters', 'Back to the Future', 'Jurassic World', 'Doctor Who' and 'Ninjago'.
The next game due to be released on June 28 is 'LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens' on PS4, PS3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
