Shaquille O'Neal has been unveiled as the cover star of 'NBA 2K18 Legend Edition'.

The NBA Hall of Fame centre - whose many nicknames include 'The Diesel', 'The Big Aristotle' and 'Shaq Daddy' - has been chosen to front the special edition of the latest instalment in the 16-year sports franchise
Talking about his third cover appearance, Shaquille - who dominated the courts for 19 years before retiring in 2011 - said: "I want to thank 'NBA 2K' for their continuous support of my basketball and broadcast career. I'm excited to be on the cover of the 'NBA 2K18 Legend Edition' and I hope my fans have a blast playing it up big man style and re-creating my most legendary in-game moments!"
Gamers who pre-order the 'NBA 2K18 Legend Edition' at participating retailers and on digital platforms will receive special Shaq memorabilia and in-game content.
The physical Items include a Limited-edition Shaq poster, five Panini trading cards and exclusive stickers.
The digital content includes 100,000 worth of Virtual Currency to use in the game, 20 Weekly MyTEAM Packs and special Shaq in-game items.
Players who pre-order the 'NBA 2K18 Legend Edition Gold' on digital platforms will receive even more exclusive Shaq memorabilia and in-game content, including a Lenticular and 10 Panini trading cards and 250,000 in Virtual Currency and 40 Weekly MyTEAM Packs.
The 'NBA 2K18 Legend Edition' will be available in both digital and physical formats, while 'Legend Edition Gold' will be available in digital formats only, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The 'NBA 2K18 Legend Edition' physical edition is available exclusively at GAME.
'NBA 2K18' will be available for PS4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC platforms on September 15, 2017.
