Sara Cox loves how 'Skylanders Imaginators' "encourages" kids to use their imagination.
The radio DJ has teamed up with Activision to find the game's most imaginative child to become the new Skylanders Chief Imagination Officer, and the blonde star - whose eight-year-old son Isaac is a big fan of the title - is glad the game makes kids think.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It's a really sweet, engaging game, there's a lot of problem solving, it's a bit of a memory game, you've got to remember where you've got to go on these different journeys they do.
"It's a really nice game and my boy really loves it.
"The competition encourages kids to use their imagination. There's no restrictions on how wild they can go. "
Activision has partnered with kids' social media platform PopJam to launch the competition to offer one lucky winner and their family the trip of a lifetime to San Francisco, California, where they will visit the Toys For Bob studio - the developer of 'Skylanders Imaginators' and the creator of the Toys-to-Life genre.
Sara admitted she feels envious of the winner being able to go to the US city as part of the prize.
She added: "San Francisco is such a cool city. I've never been but my sister has been and I've always wanted to go. But I don't think I'm actually allowed because I'm 41."
The 41-year-old star - who has kids Lola, 12, from her marriage to Jon Carter, and Isaac, eight, and Renee, six, from her current marriage to Ben Cyzer - got involved with the project because her son is such a big fan.
Sara said: "The 'Skylanders' team knew I was into it because I'd been to an event with son Isaac, who is eight, and he's into the game, he's played the game.
"He's got the toys that go with it, so it's really engaging because they can physically hold the character in their hand and then play them on the computer.
"They knew that I knew about the game so they asked me to help with the judging and I was up for it."
Once a kid's design has been submitted it will be reviewed by Activision's Imaginators Panel which is compromised of YouTube gaming star Stampy Cat, TV and radio presenter Sara, and Toys for Bob Co-Founder and Studio Head Paul Reiche.
Sara Cox is working with Activision to find the UK's most imaginative child.
The competition, hosted in partnership with PopJam, celebrates the launch of 'Skylanders Imaginators' and will see one lucky winner awarded the trip of a lifetime to the Toys for Bob studio in San Francisco, California.
