A 'Resident Evil 7: The Experience' immersive experience will come to London in late January.
The 45-minute interactive exhibition will allow members of the public to play the part of journalist interns investigating the disappearance of their crew, who never returned from a haunted house.
The event is to be staged at Dray Walk Gallery, in London's Brick Lane over three days from January 20 to the 22 and coincides with the highly-anticipated release of new title 'Resident Evil 7: Biohazard' on January 24.
It's inspired by the game's storyline, and fans who manage to nab a pair of the limited, first come, first served tickets, will be invited to work with their partner to solve a selection of puzzles in the house and get to the bottom of what happened to their fictional crew.
Actors will facilitate the experience, which is held "in darkness" with "flashing lights, and shocking scenes".
The spooked participants will then be able to play a demo version of the game ahead of the full game launch.
Game producer Masachika Kawata is excited fans of the title will get a taste of the game in real life.
He commented: "I'm extremely excited to see Resident Evil 7: Biohazard come to life through this Experience, and for participants to get a little taster of what is to come in the game."
